This week we’ve been getting in the Christmas spirit! We enjoyed a lovely Christmas dinner; watched an amazing Infant Nativity performance and wore our Christmas jumpers.
We have also been putting lots of effort into our Assessment tests.
Because we are a rights respecting school, we have been writing about Evacuation in World War Two, debating whether parents should have had the right to refuse the Government order to evacuate their children.
We have read lots of first-hand accounts from real evacuees. Some of us feel very strongly that they should have had the right to choose, others feel that evacuation was vital. Others are still undecided. We are all of the opinion that we wouldn’t have liked to have been in their position.
Next week we are looking forward to our Christmas party on Tuesday.
