Our Enrichment Offer at St Agnes
At St Agnes, we believe that education extends far beyond the classroom. Our vibrant Enrichment Programme is designed to nurture every child’s talents, build confidence, and inspire lifelong curiosity across five core areas:
Arts & Culture: Pupils immerse themselves in creative experiences, from visiting artists and museum trips to musical performances, choir, and our annual talent show.
Sport & Physical Activity: We promote health and teamwork through multi-sports coaching, circus skills, the Mini Marathon, traditional sports days, and active play.
Nature, Outdoors & Adventure: Children connect with the natural world through outdoor visits (including RHS Bridgewater, Formby Beach, Tatton Park, and local parks), forest school skills, and our school-wide Sunflower Competition.
Civic & Community Engagement: We empower pupils to become active global citizens through student leadership roles—such as the School Council, Eco Warriors, and JPCSOs—as well as community art initiatives and Global Christianity Week.
Wider Life & Future Skills: We prepare pupils for the future by developing digital literacy (Digital Ambassadors), strategic thinking (Chess Club), financial awareness (Fairtrade Coffee Morning), and career aspirations (Aspirations Week).
Through a carefully mapped sequence from EYFS to Key Stage 2, our enrichment activities support every step of your child’s growth, ensuring that all pupils—regardless of background—have equal access to memorable, high-quality learning experiences that develop character, resilience, and personal success.
