SIAMS

SIAMS is the Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools.

This is what the inspector found at our most recent inspection in May 2026:

Overall Effectiveness & Culture

  • "St Agnes Church of England Primary School is living up to its foundation as a Church school and is enabling pupils and adults to flourish."

Curriculum & Inclusion

  • "Inclusion is at the forefront of leaders' decision-making. As a result, the curriculum is carefully adapted to meet the wide range of pupils' needs so that they are successful in their learning."

Pupil Leadership & Social Responsibility

  • "Rooted in the school's Christian vision, a strong culture of justice and responsibility shapes pupils' attitudes and actions."

Religious Education & Collective Worship

  • "Through careful exploration, they develop appreciation and respect for people's different perspectives about faith."

  • "Collective worship is a valued part of the day... worship unites the school in coming together to reflect."

A SIAMS inspection focuses on the impact of the Church school’s Christian vision on pupils and adults. This involves looking at the school’s Christian vision, the provision the school makes because of this vision and how effective this provision is in enabling all pupils to flourish.
