As the holy month of Ramadan is just about to start I want to wish all our families who will be observing, a peaceful, safe and blessed Ramadan Mubarak.
It will truly be a very strange and difficult time. To not be able to take part in many of this special month’s activities, where so much is based on community, prayer and family activities, will be hard on a lot of us. But it is also a month of introspection and building a stronger connection with God through increased prayer and worship. The days would go a little quicker for me definitely, if school was open, full of children busy learning during this month, so we will all be facing a different set of challenges.
I must say it has been absolutely wonderful for me and our staff to be able to see some of our families, when you have come to pick up the home learning packs. Hope you all enjoy the special treat of Easter eggs!
It might be tempting to visit families and friends but please observe the social distancing guidelines to keep yourselves and everyone we love safe and well.
I hope you all enjoy the month and all the blessings that come with it.
