Reception Home Learning: Monday 1st June 2020

Good morning Reception! I hope you’ve been enjoying the sunny weather and had a fanastic half term.

Are you ready to do some learning?

Let’s start with a Wake Up, Shake Up.

It’s the start of a brand new half term and a new month. Can you tell me what month it is? Sing the Months of the Year song to help you remember.

You’re right! It’s June.

Let’s do our Daily Maths Meeting:

Our new number of the week is: 26

The number that is 1 less than 26 is…

The number that is 1 more than 26 is…

Can you do 26 jumps?

Can you tell me what the temperature is? Is it warmer or cooler than yesterday?

Literacy:

Let’s start by practising our handwriting. In your home learning pack you should have a sheet that looks like this:

Practise your handwriting and try and remember to hold your pencil correctly.

This half term we will be looking at the story How to Catch a Star by Oliver Jeffers. Listen to the story below:

Phonics

Today we will be lookig at the sounds: ‘or’, ‘ur’ and ‘oo’

Can you find the sounds on the sound mat?

    Thank u to the teachers so happy with u lot for giving out printed copy of worksheet it has saved alot of my time writing it up for the girls

    In Utbank u mis am so happy u viven out the wrksheet as i dont have a printer and have ro hand write it for the girls
