This week we have been learning all about the 3 little pigs. We have had lots of fun listening to and retelling the story, the children have really enjoyed saying some famous lines from the story like “I’ll huff and I’ll puff and I’ll blow your house down”. Can your child tell you what happened in the story?
The children enjoyed exploring different materials (straw, sticks and bricks) this week to decide which was the strongest to build a new house for the pigs. Everybody had lots of fun in our 3 pigs building site this week….

Also this week week we have been remembering all the soldiers that have died or been injured whilst protecting others. The children enjoyed learning about why we wear poppies on Remembrance Day. I wonder if they can find a poppy while out shopping with you this weekend…
Next week we will be going on walks around our local community to help us learn more about where we live. This will be very exciting, but please remind your child over the weekend about how to be safe on roads, etc.
