Maths

Today we are going to continue ordering objects.

We will continue using the following language to order groups of objects:

smallest

greatest (which means biggest)

Remember, when we order objects, we can order them from:

smallest to greatest

or

greatest to smallest

This is one of the questions on your home learning worksheet for today.

Here are some sentence starters for your answer to this question:

I agree with Jack because…

I disagree with Jack because…

Jack is correct because…

Jack is incorrect because…

Discuss your answer with a grown up and then your grown up can help you to write your answer down.

English

Find the sheet labelled ‘English – Thursday 2nd July‘ in your home learning pack and complete the task set.

A story to finish with:

I hope you enjoyed today’s learning!

Now that you’ve completed your maths and English learning, you can find some brilliant topic lessons in the Year 1 section (or Year 2 section if you are in Year 2).

These will be labelled as science, geography, history, art, PSHE, computing, design technology (DT), physical education (PE), music or religious education (RE).

Enjoy!

Stay safe and keep smiling!
