Last week the children explored two digit numbers, in particular numbers between 11 and 20. The children are beginning to recognise that two digit numbers are made up of tens and ones. They explored this using Base 10 and through the use of part-whole models. Question the children by selecting a number above 10 and asking them how many tens and ones it has.
