This half term our topic is Paws, Claws and Whiskers. As part of this topic we will be exploring animals. In Science the children have been focusing on identifying and classifying animals. They have explored the different animal groups; Insects, Mammals, Birds, Amphibians, Reptiles and Fish.
In Art we will be looking at the work of artists who have focused on animals aswell as drawing animals from observation.
In Design Technology we will be designing, making and evaluating an enclosure for an animal.
In Geography we will be focusing on the continents and what animals live there.
