Good morning Year 3. Has everyone been looking after their seed? Has anyone noticed any changes over the weekend? If so, please send us a picture or leave us a comment and tell us of your observations. Remember to keep a log of any changes in your plant diary.

Mueez in 3T has been sending updates of his seed. Already I can see a stem growing. Well Done Mueez. Keep sending me your updates.ย 

Today home learning tasks are as follow:

Maths – Fractions (week 2) lesson 1 Remember that we are slightly behind so click week 2 and the first lesson is fractions on a numberline. Watch the video, make notes and complete the activity. Get an adult to check the answers when you have finished and post a comment to let us know how you got on.

English – Using inverted commas to show speech

Science – What do plants need to survive? After watching this viedo, think about what plants need to survive. Using the new information you have learnt, take your seed and place it in a suitable place in your house that will help your seed grow and survive. Remember – light, air, water, space and nutrients!! Once you have done that then make a poster explaining what plants need to survive. Rememeber to send us your posters!! ๐Ÿ™‚
