Home learning tasks – Monday 23rd March 2020

Good Morning Year 5,

Today’s activities we would like you to complete are:

Try one of the ‘Coping Calendar’ activities that Ms Lynton send out. Write what you did in your exercise book and how it made you feel.

Spellings: Please use you Year 5/6 spelling list to practice the first 15 words. You can use any strategy you like as well as putting them into sentences.

Challenge: how many of the words can you get in the same sentence? Remember: the sentences MUST make sense.

Maths: In your pack, you have multiplication games. Please complete ‘Multiplication Dice game’. If you don’t have a dice, you can make a paper spinner or toss a coin.

Reading: Mrs Crowhurst has posted some First News resources we would like you to work through. Please write down your answers in your exercise book.

Extra: Please keep using Mathletics and TimesTables RockStars while you are off. We won’t be setting activities like we have above but we are expecting you to still complete work on these.

Have a good day!

Stay safe!

It is in the large pack of games at the back of your folder. It should be one of the first games inside.

So the First news is the comprehension questions etc that you can do in your book. The Year 5/6 spellings- learn the first 15 and write 15 sentences using the spelling words, with a focus on detailed and grammatically correct sentences. This can also be written in your book.

It is important to spend time with your family at the weekends. Chat, play games, bake or maybe even clean!
